101 Gopher & Pest Control was formed in 2008 by owner/operator Mark Morales. Our goals are to provide our customers quality and value, with a personal approach to the services we offer. We are a full service structural and landscape pest control company. So we are much more than just the "gopher guy" but well-rounded pest control professionals capable of addressing all your pest control needs.

We are confident in the level of service we provide, so we do not require contracts. We believe in earning your business with every service we perform. So whether it be pocket gophers damaging and destroying your lush landscape, ants invading your kitchen, or bees in your attic, rest assured we are properly licensed and experienced to meet all your pest control needs.

Roaches, ants, fleas, spiders, rats, mice, & other structural pests can pose a health risk to your family. Many people are, unfortunately, aware of how destructive and troublesome Pocket Gophers can be. Pocket Gophers will cause widespread damage to ornamental plantings and lawns and contribute to an overall unhealthy appearance to landscaped areas.
Services
When people think about the many pests that plague homeowners, the first ones that come to mind are typically ants, cockroaches, Bed Bugs, and mosquitoes.
However, if you live in California, your first thought might just be gophers.
The state is overrun with these pervasive rodents, and the damage they do is massive.
Gophers dig vast, honeycombed networks of tunnels and leave the landscape they inhabit riddled with unsightly holes and mounds.
This activity is constant.
The average one will create several new mounds every single day.
If you think moles are cute, think again.
Most gardeners will agree that you need to get rid of them before they get rid of your favorite plants and flowers.
While they are insectivores and will not eat your plants, the tunnels they burrow in their search for insects, earthworms, and larvae can become a problem.
They turn the grass brown, create low and weak spots in your yard, and the tunnels which resemble labyrinths of sorts can become home to other animals.
According to Planet Natural, there are six species in North America with the Eastern Mole considered to the most common yard and garden pest.
Squirrels are everywhere, from the busiest city block to the most remote countryside, and their activities have been entertaining us and frustrating us for centuries.
Our relationship with this quirky, clever, and aggravating animal has a fascinating history that may surprise you.
It's a love story with a not-so-happy ending.
Back in the 1700s, they were not considered pests.
They were beloved pets.
We kept them in our homes, coddled them, trained them, and took them for walks on leashes.
Benjamin Franklin even wrote a eulogy for one in 1722.
Many people think of voles as being a type of mole, but they are quite different animals.
They are smaller and have evolved to be full-time digging machines.
California is home to six species and in our part of the state, the California Vole is the most common species.
They are also commonly called Meadow Mice, although they are different rodents than the house mouse.
They feed above ground and below, but do not typically invade homes or commercial structures as mice do.
They resemble Pocket Gophers, with short legs and compact bodies made for digging.
As much as we'd like to believe that our homes belong only to us, pests are frequent visitors (even if we don't regularly see them).
Ants, spiders, roaches, fleas, and rodents commonly invade our houses and cause fear and frustration.
Below are just a few examples of the indoor pests we commonly treat.
No matter your issue though, we can help.

Even though there are more than 10,000 ant species in the world, Southern California is luckily home to only a handful of them.
Homeowners may see the Argentine, Pharaoh, Carpenter, and the Southern Fire Ant.
