Prior to feeding, they are about 1/4 inch long and flat as paper.
After feeding, they turn dark red and become bloated.
Eggs are whitish, pear-shaped and about the size of a pinhead.

What are bed bugs?

1. Strip bed and wash all sheets and any clothes exposed to bedbugs in HOT water.
2. Pull all items 2 feet away from all walls in bedrooms and living rooms.
3. Empty closets, furniture, etc. Inspect the items.
4. Thoroughly vacuum floors and carpets.
5. Vacuum bed, couches and upholstered chairs.

Take the mattress and box spring off frame of bed and set aside in bedroom.
7. Remove everything from under bed.
8. Open sleeper sofa if applicable.
9. Remove hanging picture's from wall and place in room.
