Anyone that has experienced an ant infestation knows how difficult the insect can be to control.
They not only monopolize your lawn destroying your manicured grass and continuously nip your heels, but ants are infamous for invading the kitchen while you are preparing dinner or even corralling around your family pets' eating bowls.
Clearly, ants are an annoying issue for many people, affecting everyday life activities.
Colonies can be very large ranging from a few thousand to millions.
Ants have a very keen sense of survival; therefore, they can move their colony very quickly if they sense danger.
Most people will lose their appetite or think that their home is dirty when they see or hear of a cockroach.
Sometimes cockroaches can be relentless in there will to survive because of there ability to adapt to change.
Here are some hints about cockroaches.
Cockroaches may cause people to have allergies from their droppings, skin and dead bodies.
A lot like ants, roaches can obtain entry inside your home in many ways.
Some ways are through boxes stored over time, plumbing pipes, attic or crawlspace vents, etc.
This time of year we are sort of in that "tweener" season when it may still be cold enough to keep bugs in hiding, but may have the warm days that get them moving outdoors too.
A lot of insects do find homes to be wonderful places to spend the winter, so it's possible this home managed to have a population of them inside.
But, since you also are seeing dead crickets outside it sounds like you do have outside activity.
Since I assume these are black "field" crickets it is unlikely that they can breed indoors or even survive for very long once they get inside.
House mice and rats are common pests in the Coachella Valley.
They live around the exterior of your home where food is plentiful - in gardens, flowerbeds, bird feeders, pet dishes, etc.
These rodents can invade your home through exceptionally small holes.
Once these pests are inside the outer skeleton of your house, they can freely move around using electrical wiring, plumbing lines, gas lines, sewer lines, and many other openings inside the walls.
They can also climb wooden siding and stucco quite easily, and are capable of chewing through wood and drywall.
People often assume that getting rid of spider webs is a very easy thing to do and will not take much time at all.
However, there are important steps to take to make sure that spider webs are removed correctly.
Incorrect steps can lead to more spider webs appearing in your home.
You are going to run into spider webs in two separate areas, indoors and outdoors.
Removing spider webs from outdoor locations is a different process than when dealing with indoor spider webs.
The first step to removing outdoor webs is locating them all.
