A different person might be turning the key to open Coastal Exterminating, but the friendly faces and the great service will remain the same that has kept Coastal in business in La Porte since 1963. Bryan Springer and his wife Sheri purchased Coastal in 2018 from Pat and Clint May. Clint continues with Coastal as an advisor with Pat's daughter, Eva, who has transferred from the Crosby office to work with the crew on business for Bevis - the sister company of Coastal.
Sheri retired after 35 years in the education field in 2018 and is now helping the busy office staff keep up with the many customers and their needs. Bryan grew up in Texas City and graduated from Texas City High School in 1972, and attended both Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M. He took over the operations of Bevis Pest Control in Texas City in 1975 from his grandfather Ralph Bevis.
This teaching provided Bryan with experience as a pest control operator with a fumigator while working in a small-town atmosphere. Expanding the pest control business has always been a dream of Bryan's.

Some of these require moving food and items off-site and finding a place for you, your family, and pets to stay for a few days.
So all residents will need to begin to prepare for the fumigation service well in advance of the day.
Remove all food from refrigerators, freezers, pantries and storage closets and move it off-site.
Turn off all gas flames and pilot lights in fireplaces and for appliances such as water heaters, ovens, furnaces, refrigerators, washers, and dryers.
