What is a W.D.I.I.R?

As a protective measure, banks and lending institutions often require that homes be inspected for damage from termites or other wood-destroying insects before closing the sale of the home.
A Wood-Destroying Insect Inspection Report (WDIIR) is a document prepared only by a licensed pest control business that informs the lending institution and buyer about termite damage or presence.
WDIIR's have two-pages.
The first page provides basic information about the inspection such as the address of the property, and answers general questions, such as: Are there any obstructions or areas inaccessible to inspection?

I am putting a Steel Building behind my home do I need a Termite Pre-Treatment?
That is a tricky question because it is a steel building that does not mean it is going to be termite free.
Because there are up to 20 subterranean termite colonies per acre in Arizona the steel is not going to stop them from infesting they will make shelter tubes up the steel or threw any cracks or expansion joints in the cement looking for wood, cardboard ect any thing made from wood.
Also if you go to SALE or REFI your home all structures will need to be inspected and if any one of them shows signs of termites the lender will require a treatment with a min of a 1yr warranty.

3= Curtains (cloth only) should be removed during treatment as well.
4= Furniture used as storage should be emptied for treatment.
Dressers, night stands, boxes, totes, filing cabinets, desks, etc.
5= Couches / Chair cushions should be stacked so we can treat them.
The cushions can be placed back on Couches / Chairs after treatment.
6= Have all rooms vacuumed or mopped use hot water.
Extra steps Customer can do to help with Eradication Process.
1= We Highly suggest that you purchase mattress encasements for all beds instead of buying new mattresses.
4= Furniture used as storage should be emptied for treatment.
Dressers, night stands, boxes, totes, filing cabinets, desks, etc.
